Designed by the Swiss firm Bolliger & Mabillard (B & M), Le Vampire is La Ronde's most exhilarating ride and the first suspended coaster of its kind in Québec. Defying the laws of gravity, this coaster provides thrill seekers with an incredibly smooth ride speeding along a track almost a kilometre (823 m) in length, soaring to nearly 32 metres in the air, travelling at 80.5 km/hr and looping head-over-heels five times. Seated with legs dangling such as on a ski chair lift, 1,400 riders per hour can scream with joy on this incredible roller coaster.
